Ben Fikkert is a gentleman tatter from the Netherlands. He has written three books on tatting.

Chester Ross Bentz Sr. learned to tat while awaiting transportation Stateside after the end of World War I. Chester then enjoyed a life-long love affair with tatting. He created 4 full bedspreads for his sons. One of which is in a museum in Winterset Iowa.
