How Secure is Salvation?

There have recently been questions raised about how secure our eternal salvation is. From my study of the Bible, this is my answer.
Question 1:
I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died on the cross for my sins and was buried for three days. I believe that on the third day, He rose from the grave and is now in heaven at the right hand of God the Father.
If I mess up and sin, do I have to be afraid of losing my eternal home in heaven?

Once you truly put your trust in Jesus Christ, you are saved! Let no one tell you that you will ever lose you salvation.
How weak would Jesus be if, after He has cleansed us from sin, we were able to undo His work! Jesus suffered and died on the cross to pay for sin. It was the only payment God would accept. He died once to pay for every sin we have ever committed and will ever commit. If it were possible for us to be GOOD enough and STRONG enough to gain salvation on our own or even to keep it on our own, there would have been no need for His sacrifice on the cross. He knows that it is impossible for us to live a sinless life while in these bodies of flesh.

I believe that it is possible to never have salvation because of never accepting Jesus as savior, but once we do accept Him, we are His.

Question 2: What about Christians who still do wrong? Will they go to heaven?
