Stuffed Pork Chops

Stuffed Pork Chops

  • 6 center cut pork chops - 1 1/2"thick
  • 6 oz. bread cubes
  • 1/2 cup celery - diced
  • 1/2 cup onion - diced
  • 1 T. parsley
  • 1 lg. egg - lightly beaten
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Preparation -
Slice each chop horizontally through meat to form a pocket. Combine all ingredients except chops in a large bowl & mix together. Stuff an equal amount of filling into the pocket of each chop. Arrange stuffed chops on a large shallow baking pan. Cover loosely with aluminum foil & bake at 375º for 45 to 50 minutes.
