This Garlicky Yogurt Dip for raw or blanched vegetables is easily made at the last minute. I first had this dip/sauce with hummus in Pita bread many years ago. I later discovered that it was delicious on other foods as well, including water crackers or toasted pita bread. I believe this is the same or similar sauce used for gyros.
1 cup Plain Yogurt
1 tsp lemon juice (not bottled)
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 Tspn chopped dill
1 Tspn chopped parsley
Salt and white pepper

Mix all ingredients and chill for 15 mins.
Makes 1 cup
