Learning How Colors Can Affect Your Life

Colors have subliminal effects on us and those we come in to contact with. The color red can be stimulating and exciting. Did you know that fast food restaurants use the color red to encourage people to eat quickly and then leave making room for more customers? Statistically it has also been said that red cars get more speeding tickets than any other color car. The color red is also an attention getter and encourages people to notice. People who don’t want to be noticed will naturally steer away from the color red. Extroverts are naturally attracted to warmer colors while introverts seem to gravitate to cooler colors.

Red is the color of passion and life. It is stimulating, vital, energetic and enthusiastic. It is an intense color that gives off a strong desire to be noticed. When wearing the color red it tells people of your confidence, energy and ability to act and react quickly and confidently. Red can also be worn when you want to be fun loving and carefree. This color is great for people who want to lose weight as it stimulates the pituitary gland and increases the digestion of food. It should also be worn if you have much to do or if your day requires a lot of energy, red might be the first color you should reach for to get those things done.

Red is the color of passion and if you’re feeling passionate wearing red can increase your desire and the desire of those around you. Red would also be an excellent color to wear for that special date or evening that you have planned, since it is the main color for Valentine’s Day and essentially the color of love. By being given a red rose it has the meaning of true love and can stimulate your emotions.

All colors have their positive side but they also have a negative side, here are few about the color red. Red can also increase your anger or those around you, if you are not in a good or confident frame of mind or if you have become irritated red can increase this also. The term “seeing red” is just an example of the use of this color. Red attracts immediately attention so if you’re looking to go unnoticed, red should not be worn.

Choosing what colors to wear, or what colors to have in your life have an effect on you and the people around you. A little knowledge of the different colors can make a dramatic difference in your life and how people see you.
