Welcome to the Holistic Health Site! My name is Gretchen Goel and I´m a Wellness Coach and Freelance Writer that is passionate about Holistic Health and Wellness. Holistic Health is all about looking at the body as a whole and addressing the root cause of a health issue rather than medicating the symptoms.

Most health issues occur because of poor nutrition and lifestlye habits. Therefore, the majority of my articles will focus on nutrition and healthy lifestyle habits because I believe those areas should be addressed before seeking out alternative therapies. Alternative treatments like herbs, accupuncture, chiropractic, etc. will temporarily relieve symptoms, but they will not address the root cause of the problem.

I believe a plant based diet is the best diet. It is helps the body to heal itself and has been proven by some of the top Medical Doctors to prevent and reverse heart disease, diabetes, and other degenerative diseases. I fully believe in it because I´ve been practicing this way of eating for more than 3 years. It has helped me to have more energy, a clearer mind, remove symptoms of Thyroid disease and drop my cholesterol by more than 100 points.
