Antipasto Bread

Antipasto Bread

  • frozen bread dough for 1 loaf of bread - thaw & let rise
  • 1 tsp, olive oil
  • 4 oz. thinly sliced pepperoni
  • 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 3 T. grated parmesan cheese

Preparation -
On a floured surface, roll dough to about a 12" x 15" inch rectangle. Brush surface olive oil. Spread the pepperoni and mozzarella cheese and olives(if using) over top Sprinkle with Italian spices. Beginning with the longest side, roll up jelly-roll style. Pinch to seal seam and both ends. Place on a baking sheet sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Cover with in plastic wrap which has also been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Let rise about 15 minutes. Remove plastic wrap and sprinkle top of loaf with parmesan. Bake at 375°for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before cutting into slices.
