Snowball Cookies

Snowball Cookies

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 T. honey
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/4 cup Confectioners' sugar

Preparation -
Using an electric mixer at medium speed, beat the butter and honey together until well blended. Add the vanilla, flour, and chopped pecans. Stir with a spoon to mix well. Shape the dough into 1" balls. Place the balls 1" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 350º for 12 to 14 minutes or until very lightly browned. Remove from the oven and cool slightly. While the cookies are still warm, roll in Confectioners' sugar until well coated. For added color, roll the cookies in red and green granulated sugar after rolling in the Confectioners' sugar.
