National Frog Month. In honor of the little amphibians, take a moment to learn a little more about them. Make a frog pond in your back yard, teach your children about the life cycle of the frog. National Occupational Therapy Month. To promote the awareness of the benefits of occupational therapy and to honor those who work in the occupational therapy field.

Stress Awareness Month. A month to raise awareness of how stress can affect your health, and learn how to manage stress levels better.

National Park Week, April 16-24. An effort to raise the awareness of the need for public parks and the pleasure they provide all Americans and their families. To make experiencing the great outdoors easier, the National Park Service is waiving entrance fees this week so visitors can enjoy all 392 national parks for free. National Dance Week, April 22-May 1. Celebrate the benefits and beauty of dance and its ability to enrich our lives, our bodies, and our spirits.

Sky Awareness Week, April 24-30. A celebration of the sky and an opportunity to appreciate the natural beauty of the heavens above.

National Beer Day, April 7. An unofficial celebration of the end of Prohibition in 1933.

Pan American Day, April 14. To honor the republics of Latin America.

Earth Day, April 22. Anniversary of the first Earth Day observed in 1970, focusing attention on preserving our environment and promoting the use of renewable energy.

Easter, April 24. Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.
