Greetings and welcome to the Native American site newsletter! There is a prayer from Chief White Eagle of the Ponca Tribe, titled “Go Forward with Courage,” and it beautifully describes my intention as the Native American site editor at BellaOnline. My vision is that we meet along the path of this sacred journey, and we help one another strive to uncover and strengthen spiritual gifts. Together, we go forward with courage as we embrace individual and community transformation.
The Native American site newsletter is emailed weekly. It is designed to make it easy for you to see when new articles are posted and engaging forum discussions are started. You will also find information on events and activities that highlight Native culture in North America. BellaOnline reaches out to a global community and all are invited. The themes of historical trauma are played out in many nations of the world, even today. The stories of Native Americans in particular are filled with the deepest of suffering but also with stories of triumph and courage.
