Motivation to Help Others

What motivates you to give back and have compassion for others? Does improving your community motivate us? Is your motivation driven by a personal experience? Do we just want to do a good job so that we can feel good about ourselves? Any or all of these questions might be your reason for being charitable.

When trying to do good for others, we need motivation to keep pursuing our vision. Here is a selection of quotes for you. Hopefully one, or some, of them will have a positive impact on your mindset.

Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better. (Samuel Beckett)

If not now, when? (Rabbi Hillel)

Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. (Matthew 6:34 NIV)

Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. (Dr. Seuss)

We are what we believe we are. (C.S. Lewis)
