Stashbuster Knits, Knit Noro, and 60 More

Not sure how to use your gift cards or left-over-from-the-holiday's cash; here are three books (sent by the publishers) that bear review.

Books
Stashbuster Knits by Melissa Leapman is a book with a lot of information about mixing colors and using up the odd skeins or leftover yarn in your stash. Leapman has a great eye for what looks good and what looks iffy, but it is the color theory in the book that makes a book worth considering adding to your library. There twenty-one patterns included that show off the color theory. In addition, the book has some great information about how to work around different weights of yarn and how to store your yarn.

60 More Quick Knits - 20 Hats, 20 Scarves & 20 Mittens in Cascade 220 sport is a book with great patterns that show off Cascade 220 sport and Knit Noro Accessories show off Noro yarns. If you like those yarns the books are perfect for you, if you aren't a fan of the yarn, the 60 Quick Knits book will be easy to substitute yarns in the place of the Cascade 220. In the Noro book substitutions will be harder since Noro is such a unique yarn. Flip through both before buying to make sure the patterns suit you, these books have their niche, and aren't great for a small general library.
