Seed and Chevron Stitch

Reversible stitches have two meanings, first they may be exactly the same on both sides or second that look good on both sides. The two stitches I am describing today are one of each.


Right SideWrong Side

Seed Stitch is a stitch that looks exactly the same on both sides.

Right SideWrong Side


Cast on a multiple of 2 plus one

All Rows: K1, *p1, K1; repeat from * to end.

Chevron Stitch looks different on each side, but quite nice.

Multiples of 8 plus 1

Chevron Stitch Right Side
Chevron Stitch Wrong Side
Right SideWrong Side


odd rows - right side; even rows - wrong side

Repeat these sixteen rows.
