Change for a Better Life

Change is hard for most people. We often get stuck in our daily routines day after day. Just the thought of veering off of course can be stressful. Change does not have to be stressful. It is very simple when change is simply stepping into the next stage in your life.

Transformation begins with the mind. Walking into our purpose is the transformation from what we are to what we are destined to be. Stress occurs when we get stuck in that daily schedule that is merely a routine. We were born with a purpose. Regardless of the circumstances, we are on purpose. Jeremiah 1:5 says Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. You cannot become someone that you were not predestined to be.

Transformation may not happen overnight. Renewing of the mind begins with the Word of God. The Word has the amazing ability to wash away the old ways of thinking. Old things are washed away and all things become new. We often think we are in control of our destiny. We believe that we arrived at a certain place in life due to our own works. The bible says that faith without works is dead. It is true, we must do something. We make a huge mistake when we forget that God is in control. Only God should get the glory. It wasn’t the person that was so smart or so talented. It was God that blessed that person to attain what they have and get to that place in life.

So many people believe that money can change their lives for the better. There are so many people that are blessed with riches, but are miserable, lacking something that money cannot buy. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things will be added unto you. The Lord has the ability and power to provide all that you need, including riches, good health, or anything else that you need. Be thankful for what you do have and be blessed to be a blessing to someone else.

There has been some controversy around the need to attend church service. Often Christians believe that they can grow spiritually without congregating with the church. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Renewal of the mind must take place. new information must be programmed. Romans 10:14 says How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in him of whom thy have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

You will know that your mind is becoming renewed simply by paying attention to your habits. The things that you used to do will no longer be appealing to you. Your surroundings will change. You will change the people that you hang around. Do not be alarmed because the change will be for the better. The things that used to bring stress and worry will no longer have such an affect because you will trust God with the problems of life. The problem may be the same for a season, but the comfort comes with knowing that you serve a God who is bigger than your problem.

Change can be hard, but this change will be simple because all things are possible through him that strengthen you. You can do all things through Christ. With time, you will walk into your purpose because your steps were ordered by the Lord.
