A mother of four boys and native of Indianapolis, Indiana, Dountonia S. Slack has a background in Environmental Chemistry, Dance Education and Biblical Counseling. She accepted Christ one Easter morning at the age of 7 and relentlessly pursues to fulfill God’s purpose for her life. Slack has taught Baptist Training Union, Sunday School, and serves as the Assistant Bible Study Leader for the Rebecca Circle Women´s Missionary Group. She is a certified instructor for the Anchor’s Away Program which equips high school seniors and college aged adults to develop a Christian worldview. As a former pastor’s wife, she served as Sunday School Director, Youth Ministry Director, and Outreach and Missions Coordinator.

She is advocate and founder of NOT GUILTY! an organization that advocates for victims of domestic violence who have been arrested for domestic violence. Slack is owner and Artistic Director of Dance By Dountonia a company dedicated to the fitness and spiritual development of women and girls of all age and skill levels. She is also the creator and director of Blooming Woman Finishing School which teaches poise and etiquette to girls aged 12-17. She currently serves as the director of Precious Gifts Dance Ministry and Divine Divas Dance Troupe.

She is a certified personal trainer and fitness instructor, teaches Praise Ballet for the Urban Arts Consortium of Indianapolis, board member and choreographer for the Anderson Debutante Cotillion and Beautillion Militaire, and is the Head Cheerleading Coach and Interpretative Dance Instructor for a large, urban Indianapolis high school. She serves as the choreographer and dance instructor for PraiseStage Productions Theatre Company of Indianapolis, Fund Raising Director for the Creation Evidence Expo, co-founder of Christian Fellowship Tea, Financial Secretary for ABC Children´s Aide - Liberia, and is a successful grant writer for small, Christ-centered non-profit organizations.

Slack is passionate about Christian education, missions, sharing the Gospel, reclaiming our youth for Christ, and encouraging Christian women to live wholly for Christ. With a solid doctrinal foundation, her goal is to share with the world that the Word of God supplies the answers needed to develop growing, spiritually empowering lives.
