Melaleuca Resort Palm Cove Qld

Melaleuca Resort Palm Cove, Qld, Australia

We recently stayed a week at the Melaleuca Resort Palm Cove. We had a one bedroom unit with separate bathroom/loo, kitchen, lounge and veranda overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. The Managers Margaret and Stephen were very helpful and accommodating. And pleasingly, the office was open into the early evening.

The view from our unit and veranda

The resort is situated fair smack in the middle of the Palm Cove beach, with fabulous views of the beach, the rolling surf, Coconut Palms and the surf. This is one of the most beautiful tropical holiday spots anywhere in Queensland. There is a myriad of restaurants available for the visitor, with a huge choice of cuisines and price ranges.

Tour operators pick up and return from Palm Cove to any of the attractions up and down the coast.

The beautiful private pool and garden, so beautifully looked after

Our accommodation was very comfortable - great bed and bedding and air conditioned rooms made a real difference on those humid afternoons. The rooms face east, so we didn't have the hassle of hot bedrooms at night. The kitchen facilities were terrific, and everything had been provided including glad wrap and foil for storing food in the fridge.

There was a big screen TV and a radio, but we spent most of our time out on the veranda, enjoying watching the world go by and using the free Wi-Fi that the resort provides.

The pool area is one of the best at Palm Cove because it is in a beautifully kept garden setting and is well hidden from prying eyes. There are lots of lounges available around the pool and of course a fantastic BBQ set up for casual eating.

There was a clothes line available to hang washing out in the breeze, pegs provided - much appreciated.

Both Margaret and Stephen gave us some great advice regarding booking tours that were available.

We consider the accommodation cost of our stay to be very, very reasonable for the area. The units aren't new, but they've been kept in very good condition and we wanted for nothing.

The delightful walking track that runs the length of Palm Cove beach

I can thoroughly recommend booking at the Melaleuca Resort, Palm Cove. It will be a holiday you'll always remember for all the right reasons.
