Richard Denning the actor who appeared in “An Affair to Remember” and on TV’s “Hawaii Five-O” was born in 1914.

Andrew Farriss keyboardist and songwriter for the rock band INXS was born in 1959.

Stacy Ferguson a.k.a. Fergie the singer/actress best known for her work with the Black Eyed Peas, solo music and her appearance in the movie “Poseidon” was born in 1975.

Nathan Fillion who starred on TV’s “Firefly” and in the movie “Slither” was born in 1971.

David Janssen who starred on TV’s “The Fugitive” and “Harry O” was born in 1931.

Robert Lockwood Jr. the legendary blues musician was born in 1915.

Gloria Swanson who starred in “Sunset Blvd” was born in 1899.

Quentin Tarantino the movie director/writer of such notable films as “Pulp Fiction” and “Grindhouse” was born in 1963.

Sarah Vaughan the voice behind the song “Misty” was born in 1924.

Cale Yarborough the legendary race car driver was born in 1939.

Michael York who appeared in the “Austin Powers” movies was born in 1942.

Milton Berle the legendary actor/comedian/entertainer who starred on TV’s “The Milton Berle Show” passed away in 2002 at the age of 93.

Sir James Dewar who invented the thermos passed away in 1923 at the age of 80.

Diana Hyland who starred on TV’s “Eight in Enough” until her untimely death at the age of 41 passed away in 1977.

King James I of England who was also known as James VI of Scotland passed away in 1625 at the age of 59. His mother was Mary Queen of Scots and he is also known for commissioning the King James version of the Bible.

Dudley Moore best known for his roles in such movies as “Ten” and “Arthur” passed away in 2002 at the age of 66.

Kathryn Perkins one of the inventors of everyone’s favorite, Kool-Aid, passed away in 1977 at the age of 85.

Billy Wilder the man behind the camera for such films as “The Apartment” and “Some Like it Hot” passed away in 2002 at the age of 95.
