1 fully cooked boneless or semi-boneless ham, about 8 to 10 pounds
1 (12 oz.) jar cherry preserves
1/3 cup vinegar
3 T. corn syrup
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 cup water
Preparation - Place the ham on a rack in a roasting pan and bake, uncovered, in a preheated oven at 325° for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. While the ham is baking, combine the cherry preserves, vinegar, corn syrup, and spices in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer for about two minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat. Set aside 3/4 cup of the glaze. About 15 minutes before the ham is finished baking, spoon about 1/3 cup of the cherry glaze over the ham. Stir 1/4 cup water into the remaining glaze and simmer for a few minutes to heat through. Serve with the ham.
