Protein will give you many options from eggs to meat. However as diabetics fat content is key. Eggs are always a good choice along with turkey meat. Turkey is now available in many ways from sausage to ham and is easier on your body.
Soy is also another good option. Soy has proven to help prevent cancer and is a new and different addition to your staid breakfast routine. See if you can get a sample from a friend or supermarket before committing to that quart or other soy product.
