Whatever Happened to Winning Ways?

Winning Ways sweepstakes newsletter has apparently been abandoned. Conjecture states some potential issues that may be involved, nonetheless, until just this week, the site continued to accept subscription orders, with no subscriptions or explanations going out to the general public, or to anybody that this editor is aware of.

Hmmmm... this week the plot thickened.

I had been a subscriber to the Winning Ways Newsletter last year, which is also closely interconnected to the Online Sweepstakes site, as well. I really had enjoyed this newsletter at that time. Earlier this year, format changes had come into play, at which time I chose to discontinue subscribing.

A few weeks back, I drifted on over to see what had been happening at the site, when lo and behold, it appeared that the old format had been brought back... however, much to my dismay, the site had been abandoned, and though I ordered what I thought would be a one month subscription, it unfortunately turned out to be an apparent sweepstakers rip-off, for which I recieved nothing but this article to date... at least I did get something.

After the fact, a blog posting at the SweepstakeSupplies website alerted me to the fact that others had been having this issue for some time prior to my own subscription going unfulfilled.

This being the case, last week I wrote the Winning Ways email address for a second time, basically asking what could be the issue, and I also did ask if they've needed some help for any reason. I offered them the opportunity to state their side, if they so desired, and let them know I would be posting something on this for the BellaOnline Contests and Sweepstakes site readers. I did not receive a personal reply by email, though this week there seems to be some format changes that have come into play once again. The two sites have been turned into search portals at this time. I guess this is their clear answer.

Still, I find this a sad tale to tell. It really was a good newsletter at one time, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who can say this so easily. I'd love to hear what BellaOnline readers have to say on these issues, and what your experiences may have been. Be free to post something in the FORUM
