3 Unique Christmas Gift Ideas

Looking for some unique last minute ideas for that special person on your list? Here are some ideas great for any age.

If you are looking for a very special present that is something out of the ordinary then take a look at what the Primitive Lane has to offer you. I best suggest that you check out their new store located in Grande Prairie Alberta which is stocked full of amazing gift idea's (I always spend WAY to much when I go here I just love their products) but if you do not have time (or don't live near Grande Prairie) don't worry you can shop online! Though they don't have EVERYTHING they have in their store online they still have a great selection. The highlight of which is of course their candles which are handcrafted and made to look just like baked good's and other treats. I love the cinnamon bun candle (which I have currently sitting in my kitchen) though I cannot bring myself to burn it, it still makes the whole room smell great and it looks so cute sitting on my counter. People always think I have something yummy witting there until they get a closer look (a MUCH closer look). This is a great gift for that person who has everything. The Vancouver Olympics are coming fast so why not get a gift to mark this historical event. Not only will you be getting a great gift but you will also be able to feel good about supporting a great cause. Stuff a stocking with one of the best selling 2010 items, the red mittens. Not only are they a great way to show your support but they keep your hands warm to, a great gift for any hockey fans who spend their time sitting by a cold rink. Did I mention they are only $10 and can be bought online or in a store? I am also a HUGE fan of the Plush Mascots Miga, Quatchi and Sumi these are an adorable way if getting kids involved with the Olympics and of course will give them something to remember it by in years to come! Both of these items can be found in stores such as The Bay, Zellers, and Home Out Fitters as well as online through the Offical Olympic store (website linked below in "Related Links").

A great idea for the hunter or fishermen in the family is a years subscription to Western Sportsmen. My hubby loves this magazine which features tons of great tips each month. Though it is based for British Columbia and Alberta the magazine covers everything from new decoying tactics to bullet proof ways of getting the big buck which can be used anywhere in Canada (or even outside Canada for that matter). Even the most experienced hunter and fishermen will love the monthly articles found inside. Western Sportsmen can be found at most magazine stands or can be bought through their official site.
