EWGA Foundation offers Scholarship Program

EWGA stand for Executive Women’s Golf Association from Palm Beach Garden, Florida and they are offering ways to help women succeed in business and in their personal lives. Many women have wrote to them telling how EWGA has changed their personal lives. Angie Niehoff of EWGA has sent this news release to let women know of their scholarship program. Angie is the Media contact person for EWGA Foundation launching ‘Women on Par’ Scholarship Program.

The Foundation is now accepting application for the inaugural year of the ‘Women on Par’ scholarship program. This program was established to help women at least 30 years old who need assistance in bolstering their education to allow them to get ‘on par’ and advance themselves professionally and personally.

The EWGA membership is not a requirement to apply and receive a scholarship. Applicants are required to be working on a technical/vocational degree with a associates or bachelor’s degree and currently enrolled or accepted to enroll in an accredited school, college or university. Deadline for application is June 1, 2008 and the first full; scholarship will be awarded by July 21, 2008. The time is now to check this out if you feel you are qualified to apply for this scholarship. This is a great opportunity and a way to advance your career. Sandra L. Cross is president of the EWGA Foundation and she was excited to launch this ‘Women on Par’ scholarship program. We want to help women who are returning to school to complete their degree. We believe these non-traditional ‘older’ students will gain the support they ne4ed to get ‘on par’ and achieve their educational goals”

The EWGA Foundation is a 501c3 not for profit organization a separate legal entity formed and supported by the Executive Women’s Golf Association. Their mission is to develop golf education and leadership program for women. They also hold several charity benefits for the LPGA-USGA as over the past five years have donated over $350,000 to these golf groups.
