I am Letta Meinen and I am the editor of the Sports section in Golf. I live in central Texas in a small active community called Salado, Texas. I moved here from Iowa in 2004 and am involved in this small community. My husband and I had spent many winters here in Salado as we both loved to play golf and this was an ideal place to retire. Salado has a great golf course of 27 holes called Mill Creek Golf Club. Unfortunately my husband passed away in 2003 and I made Salado my permant home.

My home is situated on the signature golf hole called The Heart of Texas as the green is shaped like a heart as are the sand traps and the tee box is the Arrow. The golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and is a very difficult course. I have been playing golf for over 50 years and at age 82 am still playing 18 holes at least 3-4 times a week. She has been involved with Ladies Golf Leagues and will be the President of this group in 2008.

My interests are many from Family, Golf, Community service. art, writing plus anything that will keep my mind active. I have published three books plus the ebook here on bellaonline. I write reviews of products on a web site called epinions. I am an elder "Dear Abbie" and answer question sent into the web site called elderwisdomcircle.

Golf is my love and will write reviews on many new golf products, events, games for golf, equipment and anything interesting to promote golf. If you have any request please contact me or write in the forum and I will respond. I am looking for new and different games or tournaments you have tried at your golf club. It is good to try new things to interest your golfers and keep them involved in this great game.
