New to the Renaissance site is word games. Many of you love word games, and now there is a place to play them, with all words related in some way to the Renaissance. Come test your knowledge and skill by playing one of these games today.

Hangman is the same as you played as a kid. All the words that you can guess are Renaissance related. You can only guess lowercase letters, so nothing is capitalized, even if it would normally be. There are also no spaces or any special characters involved, just the 26 lower case letters in the English alphabet. Each time you enter a letter as a guess, it will either appear on one or more dashes, or a body part will appear on the hangman figure. If you make 10 wrong guesses, then you lose. If you like word scrambles, then give the Renaissance word scrambles a try. Once again, all the words are related in some way to the Renaissance. The letters are mixed up and out of order. The goal is to put the letters in the correct order to guess the Renaissance related word. The link for the Renaissance word scrambles is at the bottom of the page also.

If you prefer word searches, we have word searches also. Again, all words are Renaissance related, and put in with other letters to form a standard word search puzzle. The goal is to find the Renaissance words amid the myriad random letters thrown in. The words will read either across or down. They should not be diagonal or backwards. You can print the puzzle off in order to complete them on your own time. There is a link to the Renaissance word search at the bottom of the page.

I will be adding quizzes to the site sometime in the near future. Please come back and check often on these. I will have at least one new quiz a month, but hopefully I will have time to make them more often than that. These will all be Renaissance related, and the answers can be found in one of my articles on the Renaissance site. When there are new quizzes, they will appear in the Fun and Games subject area of the site, the same place as these other games.
