Welcome to the Renaissance Site at BellaOnline. The Renaissance has been one of my enduring passions for over 30 years. I´ve always loved history. I have a B.A. in Art and a minor in Art History. I found, while in college, that I learned more history of the world through art history than I ever did in a straight forward history class. In exploring the art of a period, all the events of the period make more sense and you can get a better over view of the culture.

I am a wife and mother of 4 grown children, grandmother of 1 beautiful little girl. Originally from New Jersey, I now live in Missouri. My most unforgettable adventure was definitely a week in Italy, to stand in the shadow of the Cathedral in Florence, to stand in awe of the Sistine Ceiling, amazing!
