About the BellaOnline Renaissance Editor

Christine Sharbrough is a graduate student in the Master of Science program for Library and Information Sciences with a concentration in Archival Management at Drexel University. She holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in Art History and Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and wrote several monographs analyzing the works of Renaissance master’s Raphael, Rosso Fiorentino, Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo as part of her coursework. Her extensive study in this area has led her to travel to visit many museums and archives in the United States and Italy to study and analyze their Renaissance collections.

Christine is also a Certified GenealogistSM currently writing an updated biography and catalog raissone on American Renaissance artist Cyrus E. Dallin in conjunction with the Cyrus E. Dallin Art Museum in Arlington, Massachusetts and the Springville Museum of Art in Springville, Utah. Other writing projects include many published articles in the Association of Professional Genealogists Quarterly, NGS Magazine, Massachusetts Genealogical Council Newsletter and the US GenWeb newsletter. She spent several years as the editor of the AAHGS News newsletter – a national bimonthly publication of the Afro American Historical and Genealogical Society.

In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, running, and lecturing on random art historical, genealogical and writing topics as well as teaching art appreciation and basic computing skills; conference planning and reading everything she can find on the Renaissance time period.
