About the BellaOnline Renaissance Editor

Welcome to the Renaissance Site at BellaOnline. The Renaissance has been one of my enduring passions for over 30 years. I´ve always loved history. I have a B.A. in Art and a minor in Art History. I found, while in college, that I learned more history of the world through art history than I ever did in a straight forward history class. In exploring the art of a period, all the events of the period make more sense and you can get a better over view of the culture.

And what culture and events to study! Is there anything more fascinating then the developments in Art, Science, Music, Literature and the daily lives of people than during the Renaissance? Let´s take this journey of discovery together, join in the Renaissance Forum, email me. I want to know what you are interested in, what topics you´d like to see covered in future articles. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

I am also the editor of the Doll Making site here at BellaOnline. I love all crafts as well as drawing and painting, reading, writing and hearing from my readers! Stop by and visit.

I am a wife and mother of 4 grown children, grandmother of 1 beautiful little girl. Originally from New Jersey, I now live in Missouri. My most unforgettable adventure was definitely a week in Italy, to stand in the shadow of the Cathedral in Florence, to stand in awe of the Sistine Ceiling, amazing!
