BookBub for Cheap Book Deals to Build an E-Library

Every day I check my email with a sense of anticipation. I am a BookBub member! Do you know BookBub? What does BookBub mean to you? To me it is a great way to build my Kindle library.

BookBub is a marketer of e-books. Authors apply and pay a fee to be featured on BookBub. If they are fortunate enough to be chosen by the good folks at BookBub, their book is featured in the BookBub mailings, which offer deals to the BookBub members. What kind of deals does BookBub offer?

BookBub alerts readers to offers that are deep discounts on books. Their daily member emails offer me about a dozen deals on books. Some are free. The others are usually $2.99 and under. These books are chosen for me. BookBub knows the types of books that I like. I told them what I am interested in when I signed up. If I like a book that they are offering, I click on the button, which for me is Amazon. It takes me directly to the Amazon platform. I click on the "Buy now with 1-click" button. Amazon thanks me and loads the book directly to my Kindle. It's that easy!

BookBub does not sell books. It offers discounts from retailers like "Amazon's Kindle store, Barnes & Noble's Nook store, Apple's iBooks, and others." Some of these books are from established authors. Others are from newly published or self-published authors. I have even been able to get a few vintage books from authors that I have loved for years. Recently, I bought the first J.D. Robb for $1.99, and I got a Heinlein book for $1.99. I love vintage mysteries, and I bought a Nero Wolfe mystery for $1.99 and a collection of 4 of the Rabbi mysteries by Harry Kemelman for $2.99. That particular Kindle book retails for $14.57. I saved more than $20 on these books alone! In the past 6 months, I have ordered over 150 books that were completely free!

Often, the free books are books that are the first or second in a series. Sometimes, I can find subsequent books on Kindle Unlimited, and I can read them at no extra charge, since I am a Kindle Unlimited member. There are also times when I have purchased more books in the series, although getting a free book from BookBub does not obligate you to buy other books.

It's easy to sign up. I have the url for BookBub in the resources list. Just go to the website and follow the prompts. BookBub will be happy to send you the daily emails. You can also visit their site whenever you want to. The website has other books that are specials in all of the BookBub genres. There is one thing that you need to know about the specials. If you see something that you want, jump on it! These specials have an extremely short shelf life.

Build your Kindle library and enjoy these great book deals. It is a good way to save money and learn about new authors. Sign up today!
