King Kong - Fay Wray

Talk about a classic movie! This King Kong from 1933 is what inspired Peter Jackson to go into filmmaking. Fay Wray is the inspired heroine who calms the beast.

When they're hunting for the maiden in distress, they hear birds and say that it's dawn. Birds start chirping at dawn. However later when they hit the village, they say they have to wait UNTIL dawn to do anything. Hmmmm.

I love this one. Watch when one of the natives jumps from his hut to by a chicken coop. He loses his wig!

Apparently the movie wasn't really planned out in advance. Kong was about 6m tall in the beginning of the movie. However when they got to NYC, 6m looks pretty tiny in comparison to the skyscrapers!! They therefore "inflated" King to be more like 20m.

Here's the question that I had. You have a gigantic wall around your village. Think of it as a giant castle wall. Why would you make a GIANT door in it? Why not make a tiny human sized door that only little humans can get through?
