Twilight – Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson

Since I covered the mistakes on New Moon, I felt it only right to list the mistakes on the first movie of the Twilight series.

Bella (played by Kristen Stewart) leaves her Arizona home where she resided with her mother, to go and live with her father in Forks, Maine. After leaving the warm, dry climate she goes to a place of clouds and rain, only to have a somewhat difficult time adjusting to her new life. Starting a new school and making new friends seems to be a bit daunting for Bella having not been to see her father in some time. Finding a little comfort in seeing the one friend she remembers, Jacob who also remembers her quite well from the time they spent together as young kids.

After receiving a warm welcome at school, she soon feels at home and somewhat secure, and then Edward enters her life. At first Bella thinks Edward hates her and tries to do anything to get away from her. Little does Bella know that Edward desires her more than she could possibly imagine. His seemingly aloof behavior is his way of trying to fight the allure of Bella. Of course, what Bella doesn’t realize is that Edward is a Vampire. Formidable and desirable, Bella can’t help but be pulled into Edward’s world of danger and seduction.

If you haven’t seen Twilight, I urge you to try it. It may be about vampires but it is about trust and love.

Here are the mistakes I found.

When Edward and Bella are in the forest talking if you look closely at Edward’s jacket his right collar button is at first buttoned. In the next scene it us unbuttoned and then buttoned again.

If you pay close attention to Rosalie’s hair the roots change throughout the movie.

When Bella gets to her biology class she is assigned as Edward’s lab partner. On their first assignment they are given slides to view of cellular mitosis. There are two slides present on the desk; Edward slides one to Bella and then one for himself. A couple of scenes later both slides back on the center of the desk where they started.

When Edward and Bella are lying on the grass in the meadow they are close together. When it shows them again they are farther apart.

After the accident when Bella is saved by Edward her truck is damaged and has a fairly large dent. During the movie you can notice that the dent in her truck changes shape and size.

When Bella walks into the woods to tell Edward she knows he is a vampire she is wearing mittens. After they both arrive she no longer has any mittens and you never see them again.

If you like movies about vampire’s, true love or you are just curious I urge you to rent this movie. If you do like it and want to see the second one don’t dally it will be out of theaters shortly.
