Kitchen Feng Shui

Your kitchen is all about nourishing you and keeping you healthy. All the nutrients your body takes in to keep you walking and talking comes from your kitchen. Here are ways to use feng shui and optimize your health!

Absolutely your kitchen should be clean. This is key! If you for example used a cutting board for raw meat, and then for fresh veggies, you could get very sick. If you let germs and mold multiply it could seriously affect your health. Keep that kitchen clean. Wipe down the counters. Keep separate cutting boards for raw meat. Keep the floors clean. Clean out the fridge of old, gross stuff.

Look at your counters. Are they full of devices that you never use? Declutter and put the unneeded stuff in shelves. If they sit in the shelves for years without being used, donate them to charity. You want your kitchen to be a welcoming, nurturing place.

Now look at your cleaning supplies! Are they full of artificial chemicals that are toxic? This could be causing you issues too! As much as possible, go with all natural cleaners. They are better for you, and better for your world as well.

Make sure the kitchen is well lit. This will bring you positive energy for your food, and also help ensure that you cook safely!

Time to look at the pantry and food. Are you eating natural, healthy foods? Do a sweep and cleanse out the junk food. It's only causing you harm. Eat fresh veggies with lots of fiber, healthy proteins, and delicious salads. The more you fill your body with healthy food, the more it will carry you pain-free through a long, healthy life.

For a finishing touch, add in some fresh flowers and herbs!
