Welcome to Today in History--one of the many sites here at BellaOnline! Despite the name of the site, "Today in History," this site is updated weekly. The way it works is, I do a little research and find an event of significance from the past and write an article about it. Sometimes the articles coincide with current events, sometimes they don't; but, they are always entertaining!
Once a month, I will send out a FREE newsletter to keep you updated on what's going on around here. In that newsletter, you'll find links to all the articles for the month, and maybe a few extras here and there--like important dates or miscellaneous facts you probably won't ever use unless you're playing Trivial Pursuit or Jeopardy.
All you need to do to sign up for the newsletter is enter your e-mail address where it asks and click submit. I promise I won't send you spam--in fact, I don't even see your e-mail address! If you've signed up for another newsletter from another editor, that's excellent--you'll still have to sign up here. We don't share our lists even with each other!
So, to stay up-to-date with what's happened in the past, sign up for the free, Today in History newsletter to stay current with history! Some of the topics that I focus on are biographies, serial killers, science, and politics. Of course, there are a great many other topics, but those are the ones that tend to really pique interest.
Have a suggestion for a topic? Head over to the Today in History forums and drop me a line! Just click on the link to the left or under this article and sign up with the BellaOnline forums!
