Hi! Welcome to the British TV site, and thank you for checking out my weekly newsletter.
This is an editor’s update for all things Brit TV on BellaOnline, and a great opportunity for me to connect with those of you keen on British Television. I hope you feel, as I do, that when it’s great, it’s great - and if sometimes it falls short, then hey, let’s talk about that too!
I’m keen on the crossover between British and American Broadcast Television – a Trans Atlantic televisual conversation that I will explore on my site. All those TV formats you’re so familiar with may have happened before, across the pond – with or without a change of cast and scenery. Some of my very favourite British programmes, past and present, kicked off in the States, and British Television also makes its impact in America, in its original form or adapted for a Stateside audience. I’m proud to edit the British Television site at Bellaonline and I hope you will come on the journey with me to discover just how fun, funny, provocative and exciting Brit TV can be.
The newsletter will be in text only, and is therefore very easy to read, however you may choose to receive it. Never worry that we will spam or sell your name or email details - please be assured that this will not happen. All BellaOnline databases are securely locked against outside intruders and the names collected for our mail outs are not used for any other purpose. If you sign up for the British Television newsletter that is the only thing you will ever receive from the site. If at any time you decide to unsubscribe from the newsletter then simply click the link at the bottom of each newsletter we send out.
When you decide to subscribe to the British Television newsletter, please make sure that your anti-spam filters know to allow in mail that comes from the bellaonline.com server. Our subscription process will send you a test message. If you don't get that test message, then please let me know.
So farewell for now, and thanks again for your interest in the Brit TV newsletter!
Cheers,
Eileen,
British TV Editor
