Product Review Introduction to Poser 6, a 3D Figure Design and Animation Application

This is more than a product review for two reasons. First, PoserR 6 has a lot of features that I want to tell you about. Secondly, many of my readers are 2D artists that want to discover what 3D digital art is all about. Poser is one of the best 3D applications for the beginner. So I decided a good place to start introducing 3D art applications was with this introduction to Poser 6 from e frontier, Inc.

The first thing you will notice about Poser 6 is its non-intimidating workspace. Each tool and control has a self-explanatory icon and, just in case, there are the intuitive tooltips when you place your mouse over the tool. The second thing you will like about Poser is the Poser Rooms. Poser has seven rooms and each has a specific purpose and its own workspace. You can navigate between these rooms using tabs at the top of the workspace.
