Men are from Mars and women are from Venus. Relationships can be just that simple. When thinking about health, we often think about our well-being. Learn to be in good health and count your blessings in all areas of your life.
Physical health can have a huge toll on us. Your age does not determine your physical health. When I look at my own health, I can say that I am in better condition than I was this time last year. I have seen the Lord continue to work in my life. I learned to count trials and tribulations as joy knowing that the trying of my faith works patience. I know that God is in control. I count it as another blessing. It can be counted as all joy.
Mental health is just as important as physical health. Since we do not live in a bubble, we cannot isolate ourselves from the outside world as if we were the only one on the planet. Mental health has a direct effect on the physical aspects of oneself. If you can say that you woke up in your right mind, then count it as a blessing.
As we examine our relationships with various age groups, we come to realize that we can learn something from everyone. There are so many different perspectives. According to Proverbs 16:24, “Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.” This can be counted as another blessing.
We can consider ourselves blessed if we have a friend. As we continue our spiritual journey and become closer to Our Lord Jesus Christ, we become more and more selfless. Our concentration begins to shift from self to others. Our relationships begin to flourish. 3 John 1:2 tells us the following: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. We begin to care about the souls of others.
Finance is another aspect of health. There is such a thing as financial health. Some of us suffer with the burden of bills. We should not be stressed out about them. Begin to take authority over your finances. You are the head and not the tail. You are above and not beneath. You are the lender and not the borrower. You are blessed going in and blessed coming out. Count all of these things blessings.
When we realize that we don’t have to fight our own battles because we have a Savior that does that for us, stress and worry seem to just disappear. When we have a need, it gets fulfilled. We can say that we are truly blessed. All things work together for our good. His blessings are new every morning.
Midnight comes just like clockwork. If you were to look at any clock, whether analog or digital, it will always strike midnight at some point. The same is true in life. Dark and challenging times will come. That is a fact. It is also a fact that a new blessing will also come.
Regardless of the trials and tribulations that plaque us, tomorrow will start a new day. A new blessing is sure to follow. Learn to count your blessings because God’s mercy endures forever.
