Do you Have What It Takes for Sweepstaking?

Before you jump right into sweeping, there is some evaluating you should do. I stress this because people have a tendency to start things and not finish them. Before you spend money needlessly on sweepstaking, there is a checklist below that can help you determine at what level you want to operate.

You might be thinking right now, she couldnít possibly be talking about me. Letís think about that for a moment. I bet I could build the Golden Gate Bridge with all the steel from the unused workout equipment sitting around in millions of households in America. Gotcha right! I wonít even get into the warped tennis rackets, rusty bicycles, unread novels and brand new cookbooks. In other words, we like to begin new projects, but we canít keep up the momentum, or the interest.

Over the years I have spent countless hours showing many people how to enter sweepstakes. The percentages of those who actually stick with it are very low. Iím not telling you these facts to discourage you in any way. In fact, I take these figures as a plus! It shows me that my chances of winning are really much better than I imagined. When you realize that sweepstaking is a great hobby-but a working hobby, then you will understand why there is such a high dropout rate. On the other hand, there are some I have shown the world of sweepstaking to and it has changed their lives. What a rewarding hobby this can be!

Well, back to that checklist. Look over the list below and you be the judge. Just like beginning an exercise program, donít bite off more than you can chew, because you will only end up frustrated and unhappy. Set your own pace and be happy with it. As you progress and get your system down pat, then you can advance.

1.Do you have time to invest?
2.Are you financially able to buy stamps, supplies, and contest publications?
3.Do you have the tenacity to hang in there for months, before you get a win?
4.Are you disciplined enough to get those entries mailed by the appointed dates?
5.Can you handle disappointment when you see everyone else but you, winning?
6.Do you have a friend, mate or fellow sweeper, who can support and encourage you?

If youíve answered yes to the above questions, then I think you are ready to hear a little about your competition.

I want to hear from you. Do you have some creative ideas for sweeping? Share your thoughts on the Contests and Sweepstakes forum.
