Apple Cider Vinegar Uses

Apple cider vinegar can be used in cleaning, cooking, and in maintaining health. The use of vinegar dates back to 5000 B.C.. It would be a shame to not have this in stock in your house for multiple uses.

Generally, people use distilled white vinegar when cleaning and doing laundry, because it is cheaper. However, it is advised that apple cider vinegar is a better healthier choice when cooking and using internally. If you don't have distilled white vinegar on hand for cleaning, you can resort to apple cider vinegar as well.

-Use it as an all-purpose spray. Mix one part apple cider vinegar with one part water. Add in any essential oils for a beautiful scent.

-Is there an odor in your house you are looking to get rid of? Pour a bit of apple cider vinegar into a bowl and leave it in the room with the odor. The apple cider vinegar will absorb the odor.

-Spray directly on weeds to kill them. You don't have to resort to harmful chemicals.

-Apple cider vinegar can also be used as a safe fertilizer. Mix 10 ounces of apple cider vinegar with ten gallons of water.

-Get rid of fruit flies by placing a dish with some apple cider vinegar and a few drops of dish soap. The flies will be caught in the dish in no time.

Our beauty routine can benefit from a little apple cider vinegar. It is great as a rinse for your skin or hair and can be added to baths.

-Use apple cider vinegar as an astringent, especially if you have acne. The vinegar will kill the bacteria that leads to acne.

-Have stress in your life? You are probably familiar with epson salt baths. While you are enjoying your bath, drop in a bit of apple cider vinegar, it will help relax tense muscles.

-Don't want to use commercial deodorants? Are the natural ones not working? Try dabbing a bit of apple cider vinegar on your underarms. It will help kill the bacteria that breeds there and causes us to smell.

Apple cider can also be used in cooking or in home remedies when you are ill. Please keep in mind, apple cider vinegar can interact with medications, so please ask a doctor before using.

-Instead of using balsamic vinegar in a recipe, try making sauces, marinades, and dressings with apple cider vinegar.

-Have a sore throat? Try an apple cider vinegar gargle. Mix 1/4 cup of vinegar with 1/4 cup of warm water. Rinse and repeat.

-Soothe an upset tummy with a refreshing drink. Take one cup of sparkling water. Add to that, 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar with one tablespoon of ginger and one tablespoon of lemon juice. You will feel relieved in no time.

Apple cider vinegar really is a versatile ingredient to have on hand. Whether it be in cooking, cleaning, or in your beauty routine, you will find multiple uses for it.
