Slow Cooked Apple-Glazed Roast Pork

Slow-Cooked Apple-Glazed Pork

  • pork loin roast (about 4 lbs.)
  • 6 apples
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 3 T. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. ginger

Preparation -
Very lightly brown the roast under the broiler to remove excess fat. Wash, core and quarter apples. Place the apple quarters in the bottom of the crockpot. Lay the roast on top of apples. Combine the apple juice, brown sugar, and ginger. Pour mixture over the meat. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.
