14 Ways to Love Your Coffee

Has your coffee become just a prescription for caffeine? Coffee should be a pleasurable, flavorful event.

Here are 14 ways to love your coffee again:

1-Don’t just swig it down, take a moment to taste it and enjoy as I do (The Coffee Hour).

2-Add a pinch or two of cinnamon. I didn’t think I liked my coffee flavored but this is so good I do this every day.

3-Grind your beans. There is nothing like fresh coffee. Invest in a good grinder. (Grinding Coffee Beans).

4-Try some of the pod-style coffee makers. I guarantee you will get up earlier.

5-Try delicious creamers. They can turn your coffee into a treat. And don’t worry, there are non-fat and sugar free creamers that tasted just great. (Coffee Whiteners).

6-Try a new blend or a new brand. I get bored and switch brands from time to time. It wakes up your taste buds. (Finding Your Favorite Coffee Roast).

7-Try a Gevalia subscription and discover you as a coffee lover.

8-Cool Brew-Try a smooth new experience and lots of delicious flavors.

9- Clean your coffee maker. It can make a world of difference in taste.

10-Presentation is everything. At work-purchase a nice mug or cup. Take a break and enjoy. At home: try a cup and saucer. It is such a treat.

11-Try a new shop-Some of the most obscure places can be the best. If you are in New York, try a tiny shop called Ceci Cela , a little French shop that will make you feel like you have died and gone to Paris.

12-BYOT-Bring your own thermos or travel mug. Make your coffee at home just the way you like it and put it into a thermos. You won’t have to drink the office swill again.

13-Try it different ways—Try black if you’ve never had it or vice versa. Try lots of cream or evaporated milk and no sugar—I wouldn’t have it any other way.

14-Some like it hot—Whenever I drink coffee out, it is rarely hot enough because I use lots of milk or cream. So when I am at home, I always hit it with another 30 seconds in the microwave. Don’t be afraid to ask for this in your favorite restaurant either.
