Supplies For Preschool

It is not too early to start planning for back to school items for your preschooler. This is especially important if this is your child's first year! Here is a list of typical supplies needed for a preschooler and his or her classroom. Keep in mind that you should receive a list of items from your child's school, too. Many teachers request extra hygenic items as well, like tissues and bandages. If money is an issue, only buy what is essential. Also find out if your child can have his or her own art supplies, or if they are collected and put to group use. This can be very important information as a preschooler surprised about having to share their special Toy Story crayons will not be too happy.

8. Toilet seat covers

9. Knit hat (for the colder months)

10. Hair bands (for girls)

Here are some wonderful organizational tools for both you and your preschool child. Disney offers a cute, pink Tinkerbell backpack, in a preschool size. It also comes with a water bottle and holder. For the boys, Marvel has a great Spiderman mini backpack, perfect for a little guy to carry to preschool!
Be sure to have a record book on hand, too, to note your child's preschool experience. Readers Digest makes a comprehensive and sturdy one.

Take the time to prepare early, and you will find the transition to back to school easier then you thought!
