Grey Headed Parrot Jigsaw Puzzle

Aztec, the Grey Headed Parrot is sure looking good in this jigsaw puzzle. Teresa Schnurr took the picture and allowed me to put it up here for everyone to enjoy.

As always, you may have to scroll over to get the whole puzzle in your computer window. You can make it harder (or easier) by changing the size and shape of puzzle pieces.

The Grey Headed Parrot originates in Africa and is classified as one of the Poicephalus (same as the more common Senegal). This is one of the birds that had been classified as a Cape Parrot and with the splitting of sub species into separate species a few years ago they have sometimes been called the Un-Cape along with the Brown Headed (Brown Necked) Parrot.

Grey Headed Parrots are good talkers but are not common as pets at this time.

A visit to Teresa Schnurr's website
Companion Fids will give you more information on Actec as well as several other birds in her home. She also has wonderful toy making ideas that you could check out.
