Golden Skillet Cauliflower


Thinly sliced fresh cauliflower is sauteed and smothered in melted cheddar cheese.

  • 2 T. butter or margarine
  • 4 cups thinly sliced fresh cauliflower
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. paprika

Preparation -
Melt the butter or margarine in a large skillet. Add the cauliflower and water. Cover and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes or until the cauliflower is barely tender. Drain off any remaining liquid. Add the shredded cheddar cheese and paprika. Cover and simmer about 2 more minutes or until the cauliflower is tender and the cheese is melted. Stir gently before serving. .
