Narnia - Lucy Pevensie

Lucy Pevensie is the sibling who discovers Narnia in C. S. Lewis' The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. She is the youngest of the Pevensie children. The others do not believe Narnia exists. Yet, Lucy knows better.

In C. S. Lewis's book, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Lucy and her siblings: Susan, Edmund and Peter are residents of London, England. World War II is raging. The Luftwaffe (German Air Force)is bombing London. Their mother sends them to reside with Professor Digory Kirke, who lives in the English countryside.

Once there, Lucy Pevensie plays hide-and-seek with her sister and brothers to wile away the time. One day, she chooses a large wardrobe in which to hide. Soundlessly, she tiptoes towards the back of the wardrobe. To her surprise, there is no back to the wardrobe. Lucy finds herself in what looks like a winter wonderland.

Standing under a lamppost, she spies a Faun. The Faun is wearing a red scarf wrapped around his neck and carrying a package. This is Mr. Tumnus. Mr. Tumnus is intrigued with her, for he has never met a human. He invites her to his home for tea. Read The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe to find how this young tween character, Daughter of Eve, becomes humble Queen Lucy, the Valiant.
