On August 30, 2016 Greenville South Carolina Sheriff Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance call. When the deputies tried to arrest the woman, who was pregnant at the time, she got in her car and raced away but managed to run over a deputy first. He was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. A couple of hours later, the police arrived at the womanís apartment and arrested her. She was charged with attempted murder, resisting arrest with assault, malicious injury to property, and domestic violence third degree. The deputy was later released from the hospital and sent home to recover.
A pregnant Arkansas woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend with a pair of scissors. The reason she stabbed him? She said he didnít know how to properly make a grilled cheese sandwich. The couple argued over the process and she got angry and attempted to stab him with a knife but he was able to stop her. She then found a pair of scissors and stabbed him in his waist and got the scissors all the way to the bone. The boyfriend was taken to the hospital where he was treated for stab wounds and the woman asked to go to the hospital to be checked after the altercation. She was then arrested and charged with domestic battery and released from jail later that afternoon.
In March of 2015, a New Jersey couple was pulled over for not having visible tags on their car. Both people were soon arrested for outstanding warrants. Soon after, a deputy noticed on the video footage taken from inside the car that the pregnant woman was stuffing little packets into her pants. She was later stripped search by a female officer and found the woman had stuffed 89 packets of heroin up into her birth canal.
In January 2016, police arrested a pregnant woman and her boyfriend in a Louisville Kentucky hospital. She checked herself in because she thought she was in labor but they were found to be false labor pains and she was nine months pregnant at the time. However, someone recognized them from news footage for breaking into homes, stealing things and then selling the items at local pawn shops. They also shoplifted from stores and returned the items for cash. The expectant couple admitted to doing most of the crimes and the boyfriend was booked into the jail but the girlfriend was cited and released to go back to the hospital with her family. The boyfriend was also wanted for skipping out on his parole. The couple had also stated that they are both heroin addicts.
