Fresh Strawberry Coolers Recipe

Fresh Strawberry Coolers

Enjoy a refreshing strawberry cooler on a hot summer day. This recipe makes about 4 servings (12 ounces each).

  • 1 pint (about 2 cups) fresh strawberries
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 1-1/2 cups chilled ginger ale

Preparation -
Remove the hulls and wash the strawberries. Place the strawberries in a blender or food processor along with the sugar and orange juice. Process until the strawberries are pureed and the mixture is well blended. Pour the pureed strawberry mixture into a large pitcher. Just before serving, add the ginger ale and stir to mix well. Serve over ice.

Prepare, store and serve your strawberry coolers in this 72 oz. glass pitcher. Fill the center portion of the pitcher with lots of ice and keep flavorful teas and fresh fruit drinks icy cold. As the ice gradually melts in its own container, it won't dilute the flavor of your beverage. The pitcher also comes with a plastic lift-off lid and a handy stirrer that fits through a tiny opening in the lid. The center cylinder is removable.
