Adobe Premiere Elements 9 Review

In AdobeR PremiereR Elements media management hub you can organize, edit, create and share your videos. There are a few new and enhanced features with the new version 9, resulting in faster and easier HD editing and creativity.

When importing your videos, Premiere supports even more types of camcorders, from Flip cameras to DSLR still cameras. With Smart Fix your can fix shaky video, as well as, color, contrast and lighting problems. With the audio auto-fix features you can easily make improvements to audio clarity including Audio Polish, Hum Remover, Auto Mute, Cleaner, Noise Fader and Noise Reducer.

Those of you familiar with the Poster Edges filter in PhotoshopR, which adds a dark outline to your images, will enjoy the new Cartoon effects, which will do the same to your videos transforming them into your own personal animated film. With even more InstantMovie themes such as Fun in the Sun, Pets and Crazy Cartoons, you can drag and drop professional-looking movie themes onto your video, adding transition, effects, music and titles.

You can create one-of-a-kind online albums with animated templates, artwork, captions and Flash interaction. Sharing your video creations is made easier with automatic optimizing and formatting when you upload to your favorite sharing site such as Facebook and YouTube, directly from the Organizer workspace.

I really like the web DVD option which transforms your video creations into full-featured DVD movies including a scene index and chapter menu. You can upload them to Photoshop.com or your website.

A yearly subscription to Adobe Premiere Elements 9 Plus gives you access to exclusive libraries containing how-tos, artwork, transitions, templates and more. You also get 20 GB of online storage and automated backup to protect your videos from those unseen emergencies.
