My Forever Child Giveaway

No matter what time of year you lost your baby, this time of the year can be really tough. The holidays are full of gatherings where you will inevitably run into family and friends who are pregnant or toting adorable infants. Money woes or car troubles you might normally weather with no trouble may seem overwhelming on top of trying to deal with your loss. This is why the website My Forever Child is running a special holiday promotion this month.

The website says “in hopes of sharing a little bit of happiness during this emotionally tough holiday season, I am hosting a December giveaway.” I think this is a wonderful way to potentially lift your spirits. I have reviewed the My Forever Child website in my articles before but for those of you who may not know, the site creates beautiful memorial keepsakes and jewelry.

You can enter the giveaway by posting a message on their blog or Facebook site or you can email them. They're looking for pictures, testimonials or suggestions for future products. The giveaway runs from December 9 through December 17. Winners will be chosen at random although you can enter as many times or as many ways as you want.

Memorial keepsakes or jewelry can be a great way to have a tangible acknowledgment of your loss. I have a necklace I bought from My Forever Child with my daughter's name on it. I wear it every day. It makes me feel I have not forgotten the loss even though I never possibly could.

I like that the site is offering multiple ways for people to enter the giveaway and that they are savvy in employing social media. My Forever Child was begun by Susan Mosquera whose third child was stillborn in 2002.

Since interacting with others who have experienced similar losses can definitely make you feel better, I think the website's giveaway idea is a win-win for everyone involved. They will receive valuable feedback from their customers, you can check out their products and possibly win some. I would definitely recommend checking out the website and entering the giveaway.
