I am the married mother of two boys and I live in New England in the United States. I am a voracious reader. I enjoy yoga and belly dance. I am an animal lover. I work part-time outside of the home. I do volunteer work at my church and with the Boy Scouts.

I truly love writing and have been, among other things, editor of my high school newspaper , intern on a local paper, office newsletter editor and a columnist. I´m currently working on both a novel and a memoir. Having taken leadership and advocacy training I believe it is a blessing to be able to use your gifts to help someone who has experienced the same difficult situations you have.

I have had a total of five miscarriages. Two were very early in the first trimester and blamed on chromosomal abnormalities. Three were in the second trimester and no cause was ever found. I am not a medical expert but I have read extensively on miscarriage in an attempt to answer many of my own questions. My own miscarriages were devastating. Still, I found being able to network with other women who´d experienced similar losses was helpful to the healing process.
