My Prayers For You Challenge 2

Click here for My Prayers For You Challenge 1!

When it came time to send my children off to public school I was terrified by the evil influences that I would no longer be able to protect them from while they were away from me. I even homeschooled my daughter for 7 years, but was still nervous when she headed off for public school. Prayer was my one way of coping with them being away from me! I was so blessed when I read The Power Of A Praying Parent by Stormie Omartian. My prayer for this challenge is from her book and is a prayer I have been praying for my children for years.

Unfortunately we can’t be everywhere that our children are all the time. But God can. We can’t see everything that they see, or hear everything that they hear. But God can. We can’t possibly know all of the evil lurking to lure them in. But God does. He can and will protect them.

Scripture: No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgement, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord. ~Isaiah 54:17

My Prayer: Father, please hide my children from any kind of evil influences that would come against them. Keep them safe from any kind of hidden dangers and let no weapons formed against them be able to prosper. Thank you Lord, for Your many promises of protection. Help in the obedience of Your Will so that they never come out from Your umbrella of protection wherever they go. In Jesus name I pray , Amen.

These cards will be a blessing for your family for years to come. They will also be a constant reminder to be in prayer for your children. I have my cards placed in random places throughout my house. This card is on my bedroom dresser so that I see it each morning.

“The Power Of A Praying Parent” by Stormie Omartian is a perfect study to go along with this challenge and will encourage you in praying for your children.
