Garden Fresh Salad

    Salad
  • a salad bowl of garden lettuce leaves, torn into pieces
  • thinly sliced fresh radishes - about 8
  • green onions - about 6, with tops - thinly sliced

    Dressing

  • bacon - 5 strips
  • 2 T. vegetable oil
  • 2 T. red wine vinegar
  • 1 T. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Preparation -
Toss salad ingredients together in a large salad bowl, then set aside. Fry bacon till crisp; drain and set aside. Whisk other dressing ingredients together. Pour dressing over salad. Sprinkle crumbled bacon bits over top. Serve immediately.
