Faith in Action

In the bible, there are accounts of faith in action. The Lord gave a directive and it was the responsibility of the believer to comply. Find out how to put your faith to work for you.

The accounts in the Bible are as follows:

#1 “Make yourself an ark of gofer wood. Make rooms in the ark, and cover it with pitch inside and outside. And Noah did this. He did everything that God had commanded him. (Genesis 6:14-22)

#2 The Lord said to Abram: Go out from your land, your relatives, and your father’s house to the land that I will show you. So Abram went, as the Lord had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was 75 years old when he left Haran. (Genesis 12:1-4)

#3 As He was walking along the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon, who was called Peter, and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, since they were fishermen. “Follow Me,” He told them, “and I will make you fish for people! ” Immediately they left their nets and followed Him. (Matthew 4:18-20)

#4 After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at the tax office, and He said to him, “Follow Me! ” So, leaving everything behind, he got up and began to follow Him. (Luke 5:27-28)

You might argue that these accounts of faith happened so long ago. The Lord still speaks. If you don’t believe it, just read your bible. The Word of God will become planted deep inside of you. When situation occur, those very words will come alive.

The Word of God is always relevant. Holy Spirit will bring those things into remembrance. If you do not have the words hidden in your heart, then you will not be equipped to fight the good fight of faith.
The Word of God is your weapon that is sharper than any two-edged sword. Hide the Word in your heart so that you will be ready for any situation. It is the best and most powerful resource that you can possess.

Be ready to hear that still small voice of God. Continue to grow close in your relationship. When you believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, Have the faith of the size of a mustard seed, and believe that you have received whatever you are in need of, you will find the Lord is a rewarder of those that diligently seek him.

There is a difference between training for a war by reading about it and actually pulling from your weapons of warfare. You may know that faith is the evidence of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen, but until you add works to your faith, then you lack the fuel to the fire.

Faith in action is very powerful. Matthew 7:7 is very clear. Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Remember that you shall have whatever you say.

Be Blessed.
