You will need:
* Box template (available here)
* Cardstock, letter or A4 size
* Patterned paper
* Washi tape
* White glue
* Scissors
* Ruler
* Pencil
* Flat back rhinestone embellishment
* Two 1/8 inch eyelets or brads
* 1/8-inch eyelet setter
* Small hole punch
To make the eggplant-colored purse with one handle:
Using the template as a guide, trace the template onto a sheet of cardstock and cut it out. Score and fold along the lines, as indicated.
Cut a strip of cardstock measuring 7-1/2 by 5/16 inches. Punch a small hole at each end of the strip. Punch a hole on each of the triangular sides, about a third of the way from the top. Insert one eyelet through the hole in handle and the side of the box, and secure in place with the eyelet setter. Repeat with the other side.
Cut a piece of patterned paper 1-1/4 by 2-1/4, then curve two corners to form a flap for the purse. Adhere to the front of the box, and attach a flat back rhinestone embellishment onto the flap.
To make the neon orange purse with two handles:
Using the template as a guide, trace the template onto a sheet of cardstock and cut it out. Score and fold along the lines, as indicated.
Cut a piece of cardstock measuring 1-1/2 by 1-3/4 inches. Cover one side with washi tape. Trim off the excess tape.
Cut two strips of cardstock measuring 7-1/2 by 5/16 inches. Take one strip and glue it along the edge of the rectangle. When dry, glue the other end of the strip to the opposite side of the rectangle. Allow to dry thoroughly. Glue the rectangle with the handles to the front of the purse.
Take the other strip and glue it on the other side of the purse; when dry, attach the other end of the strip as well.
